Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
- Fenbendazole 50 mg
- Rafoxanide 50 mg
Indication:
Parafluke indicated for treatment of:
- Roundworms: Ostertagia sp., Haemonchus sp., Trichostrongylus sp., Cooperia sp., Nematodirus sp.,Trichuris sp. Oesophagostomum sp., Bunostomum sp., Cooperia sp. and Strongyloides sp.
- Tapeworms: Moniezia sp.
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus sp.
- Adult liver fluke: Fasciola hepatica.
Dose:
By oral administration and Shake well before use
- Cattle : 22.5 ml Parafluke/ 100 kg b.wt orally by drench
- Sheep : 10.5 ml Parafluke/ 10 kg b.wt orally by drench
At 2 months after housing, when dosing cattle for worms and adult fluke, a lower dose of 7.5 mg/kg can be used (7.5 ml / 50 kg b.wt)
Contra-Indications:
- Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the other constituents.
- Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
Warnings:
- Shake well before use.
- Where a dosing gun is used to administer the product care must be taken to avoid the occurrence of dosing gun pharyngitis.
Withdrawal:
- Meat: 60 days for cattle and 54 days for sheep
- Milk: Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption
