Composition:
Each 1 gm contains:
- Maduramicin ammonium 10 mg (Eq. to 9.8 mg maduramicin)
Indication:
- Maduramix is used as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria necatrix, E. tenella, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima and E. mivati sensitive to maduramicin ammonium in broiler chickens.
- Maduramix is used as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria melagrimitis, E. gallopavonis, E. adenoids, E. meleagridis and E. dispersa sensitive to maduramicin ammonium in turkeys.
Dose:
- 500 gm of Maduramix / tonne of complete feed continuously up to 5 days before slaughtering.
Contra-Indications:
- Not used for layers or breeders.
- Not used for any host rather than broiler chickens and turkeys
- Do not mix with or into feeds containing any other anticoccidial.
- Prevent horses, donkeys, mules and ponies from feed containing maduramicin as it its toxic and fatal to all equines.
- Not used with tiamulin.
Side Effects:
- Overdosage may cause inappetence.
Warnings:
- The required dose should be carefully weighed and mixed well with feed.
- Operators should wear suitable protective clothing.
Withdrawal:
- 5 days.
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in dry place.
