Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
- Diclofenac sodium 25 mg
Indication:
Diflam injection is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic, is indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as;
- Arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteochondritis
- Bursitis
- Tendonitis
- Myositis
- Acute pneumonia
- Acute mastitis
- Enteritis.
- It is also used for the control of fever associated with infections or tissue degeneration in different animal species.
Dose:
To be injected by I/M route:
- 1 ml Diflam /25 kg.B.wt ( 1 mg diclofenac/ 1 kg B.wt) for 3- 5 days.
Contra-Indications:
- Not to be used for animals with renal diseases.
- Not to be used for animals with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
- Not to be used with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids.
Withdrawal:
- Meat: 15 days.
- Milk: 6 days.
Storage:
Store tightly closed, in dark place below 30°C.
