Composition:
Each 1 gm contains:
- Oxytetracycline HCL 757 mg (Eq. to 701.44 mg Oxytetracycline)
Indication:
Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder indicated for:
Broiler chickens :
- Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sac infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and E. coli.
- Treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae.
- Treatment of fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Turkeys :
- Treatment of hexamitiasis caused by Hexamita meleagridis.
- Treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae.
- Control of complicating bacterial organisms associated with blue comb (transmissible enteritis, coronaviral enteritis).
Dose:
Orally via drinking water
Broiler Chickens :
- Mycoplasmosis: 0.7 – 1.4 gm Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder/ 10 liters of drinking water for 7 days
- CRD: 1.4 – 2.8 gm Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder/ 10 liters of drinking water for 7 days
Turkeys:
- Hexamitiasis: 0.7 – 1.4 gm Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder/ 10 liters of drinking water for 7 days
- Mycoplasmosis: 1.4 gm Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder/ 10 liters of drinking water for 7 days
- Blue comb: 8 gm Oxyvet-Pharma forte powder / 10 liter of drinking water for 7 days
Contra-Indications:
- Not used in layer producing eggs for human consumption
- Not to be used for more than 14 consecutive days
Side Effects:
- May cause vomiting, diarrhea, photodermatitis or nephrotoxicity.
Warnings:
- The medicated water should be sole source of water.
Withdrawal:
- 7 days
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30 C in dry place.
