Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
- Oxfendazole 25 mg
- Closantel 50 mg
Indication:
- Gastrointestinal roundworms: Ostertagia spp (adult, arrested and inhibited larvae), Haemonchus contortus (adult, arrested and inhibited larvae) , Nematodirus spp (including N. battus) (adult and immature), Cooperia spp (adult and immature), Trichostrongylus spp (adult and immature), Oesophagostomum spp (adult and immature), Chabertia spp (adult and immature)
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria (adult)
- Tapeworms: Moniezia spp
- Sheep nasal fly: Oestrus ovis (larvae)
- Flukes: Chronic and sub-acute fasciolosis due to Fasciola hepatica (mature and late immature flukes).
Dose:
Shake well before use
- 1 ml Oxfenswede plus / 5 kg b.wt orally as a single dose
The dose should to be repeated after 21 days
Contra-Indications:
- Don’t use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to other benzimidazoles.
- Don’t use in cases where infections with benzimidazole resistant species are suspected. In this case an
- appropriate narrow spectrum product should be used.
- Don’t use in ewes producing milk for human consumption including during the dry period.
- Don’t use within 1 year prior to the first lambing in ewes intended to produce milk for human consumption.
Warnings:
- To be administered by the oral route only.
- Don’t exceed the recommended dose.
- The bodyweight should be assessed as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage.
Withdrawal:
- 42 days for meat and offal
- Not used in ewes producing milk for human consumption.
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30ºC
