Composition:
Each 1 gm contains:
- Neomycin sulfate 715 mg (Eq to 500 mg Neomycin base)
Indication:
- Treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by organisms susceptible to neomycin
Dose:
- Broilers Chickens – Layers – Turkeys : 1.5 gm Newcin forte / 10 liter of drinking water for 3 – 5 days
- Calves: 1.5 gm Newcin forte/ 100 kg b.wt dissolved in drinking water for 3 – 5 days
Contra-Indications:
- Contraindicated in animals with history of hypersensitivity for neomycin
Side Effects:
- Ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity, diarrhea or intestinal malabsoprtion are side effects of neomycin if used incorrectly
Warnings:
- The product should not be used to treat non-specific enteric infections in groups of food-producing animals.
- Selection of treatment should be confirmed by bacterial culture and sensitivity test.

- Layers : 14 days
- Turkeys : 14 days
- Calves: 30 days
Milk : 35 days
Egg: 10 days
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in dry place.
