Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
- Gentamicin Sulfate 120.5 mg (Eq. Gentamicin base 100 mg)
Indication:
Gentacure-10 is indicated for the treatment of Gentamicin sensitive infections in horses, dogs and cats:
Dogs:
- Urinary tract infections: cystitis and nephritis.
- Respiratory tract infections: tonsilitis, pneumonia, and tracheobronchitis.
- Skin and soft tissues: pyodermatitis, wounds, lacerations, and peritonitis.
Cats:
- Urinary tract infections: cystitis and nephritis.
- Respiratory tract infections: pneumonitis, pneumonia, and upper tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissues: wounds, lacerations, and peritonitis.
Horses:
- Metritis in mares and as an aid to improve conception rate.
Dose:
To be injected I/M or S/C
Dogs – Cats: 0.5 ml of Gentacure-10 per 10 kg.b.wt ( 5 mg / kg ).
Horses: 0.5 ml of Gentacure-10 per 25 kg.b.wt ( 2 mg / kg).
One day old chick: 0.2 mg / chick / once, To be injected S/C
Turkey poults: 1 mg / poult / once, To be injected S/C.
Each 1 ml Gentacure-10 in 100 ml saline or water for injection.
0.2 ml / chick & 1 ml / poult.
Cattle – Sheep: 1 ml of Gentacure-10 / 25 kg.B.wt ( 4 mg / 1 kg ),To be injected I/M.
Contra-Indications:
- Pregnant animals .
- Animals with impaired renal function.
- I.V route.
Withdrawal:
- Not to be used in animals producing meat or milk for human consumption.
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30ºC in dry place.
